Terms of service
Jay Doolan (trading as SecuriVibe) | Last updated: October 2026
1. Acceptance
By creating an account, installing the SecuriVibe GitHub App, or otherwise using securivibe.com or any related services (collectively, the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation, and references to “you” include both you and that organisation.
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
2. The Service
SecuriVibe provides security reviews of source code, primarily for applications built with AI coding tools. The Service reads source code you have authorised us to access (via the GitHub App installation, a repository link or a file you send us), runs AI-assisted checks against it, and a person reviews the results before we send you a report of potential security issues with suggested remediation. We aim to deliver the report within 5 working days of receiving access to your code.
The Service is provided on an “as is” basis. We do not guarantee that the Service will identify every vulnerability, that its suggestions are appropriate for every codebase, or that the Service will be available without interruption.
3. Account and access
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- All activity that occurs under your account
- Ensuring you have permission to grant the Service access to any repository or code you submit for scanning
- Promptly notifying us of any unauthorised use of your account
You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. You must not create an account using false information.
4. Acceptable use
When using the Service you agree not to:
- Submit code you do not own or have explicit permission to scan
- Use the Service to scan or attack systems you do not own or have permission to assess
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the underlying prompts or models powering the Service
- Resell, sublicense, or otherwise commercially exploit the Service without our written consent
- Use the Service to violate any applicable law or third-party right
- Interfere with the integrity or performance of the Service (rate-limit evasion, denial-of-service attempts, etc.)
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for any user who breaches this section, at our sole discretion and without notice.
5. Intellectual property
The Service, including all software, prompts, design, and content (excluding your code and findings derived therefrom), is owned byJay Doolan (trading as SecuriVibe) and protected by intellectual property laws.
You retain all rights in the source code you submit for scanning. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to access, copy, process, and analyse that code solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you. We do not claim ownership of any findings or reports generated from your code.
6. Confidentiality
We treat any source code you submit as confidential. We will not disclose it to third parties except: (a) to subprocessors strictly necessary to operate the Service (the AI provider that runs the checks, and the hosting and database providers that store your project, as listed in our privacy policy), (b) as required by law or valid legal process, or (c) with your explicit consent.
We will sign a separate mutual non-disclosure agreement on request for engagements that require one.
7. Payment and refunds
Reviews are paid for in advance via our payment processor. If we cannot deliver a usable report within 5 working days of receiving access to your code, we will refund you in full. Once a report has been delivered, fees are non-refundable except where required by law. We reserve the right to change pricing with at least 30 days’ notice; any change will not affect an order already paid for.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, or that the Service will be error-free or uninterrupted.
A security report from SecuriVibe is one input into your security posture, not a complete substitute for professional security review, penetration testing, or compliance certification.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Jay Doolan (trading as SecuriVibe)’s total aggregate liability arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) £100 or (b) the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
In no event shall we be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, or business interruption, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded under English law.
10. Termination
You may terminate your account at any time by uninstalling the GitHub App and deleting your account from the dashboard. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms, prolonged inactivity, non-payment, or where required by law. On termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately; sections that by their nature should survive (e.g. confidentiality, intellectual property, limitation of liability) will continue to apply.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or via the Service. Continued use of the Service after the effective date of an updated version constitutes acceptance of the changes.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising from or related to these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
